James Heires is a Principal Consultant in the Professional Services division at Quantitative Software Management. James has over 25 years’ experience in software development, project management and management consulting. He is a member of the Project Management Institute, and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). 

James has worked with SLIM tools since the late 1980s. In addition to achieving QSM’s Software Estimation Professional designation in 2013, James has used PRICE and COCOMO estimating models professionally.

His responsibilities at QSM include consulting on major program acquisitions with the Department of Defense (DoD). He earned a BS in Engineering from the University of Nebraska.
