(QSM), a leader in software process improvement and estimation, today announced it has been awarded the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for the Leading Edge Solutions II (EAGLE II) contract vehicle under prime contractor LMI.
LMI will utilize QSM’s benchmark database of historical software projects, parametric Software Lifecycle Management (SLIM) tool suite, and 35 years of experience on large systems analysis and program support services to meet the IT goals of the DHS. Now in its 8th edition, the QSM database is comprised of more than 10,000 completed IT, engineering and real-time software projects from 19 different industry sectors, including government.

The contract award falls under the unrestricted track for Functional Category 2, which includes “Information Technology Support Services, spanning the full range of business and technical management services, including IT policy and planning, capital planning, strategic planning, workforce planning, budget execution, performance management, enterprise architecture, data management, information sharing, information security, training, enterprise resource management, business process reengineering, IT transformation and strategy, organizational change management, and program management office support.”
